Abstract Painting and Materiality

I created this piece by painting onto pieces of fabric and then patchworking them together to constructan overallpainting. Thispieceis an abstract impression of landscape imagery. My intentions for this project wereto utilise mark-making, material,and composition to produce a visually interesting piece which is inspired by natural forms.
